History

The Lahore Rail Transit Orange Line is Pakistan’s first metro train. The whole point has been that NORINCO International Cooperation Ltd. has shown itself to be a global stakeholder in international operations, investment, global resources, location, financing, and project management. adapted from Chinese standards, technology, and equipment. The Orange Train Lahore is part of the “Belt and Road” for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. 

The Northern Industrial Association and China Railway Corporation signed an EPC contract in April 2015 for the maintenance of mechanical and electrical EPC. The project was subsequently signed on February 25, 2020.

What is the fare of the Orange Train in Lahore?

The Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) says that each passenger on the Orange Train in Lahore is charged Rs 40.

Specifications for the Orange Line Metro Train in Lahore:

On October 25, 2020, the Orange Line Metro Train in Lahore was completed and inaugurated. The estimated cost of the project is 1626 million US dollars. Its main depot is at Dera Gujran, where it has its main operation control center, overhauling facilities and workshops, training center, and parking facility. But its stable is in Ali Town, where there are places to park and wash the horse and do small repairs.
